Playing with Raindrops

Raindrops fall……….

and leave behind little drops of beauty…

and if you look closely …

You will find the beauty in the rain…

I think the word lily should have 2 l’s ~ don’t you?

~ Lilly ~ much better!

Rain is  peaceful ~ sometimes!

Rain in the apple tree

Rain in the wheel barrel tire

Rain on the cherry tree

Rain on the blueberry plants

drip, drip, drip ~ wonderful drips!

Someday I’ll wish upon a star,

wake up where the clouds are far behind me…

Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops,
that’s where you’ll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow

bluebirds fly

Please don’t hurt the bluebirds in the clouds Nelly!

We miss you!

All

of

us

miss

you

Oh, Merlin!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
And the dreams that you dream of
once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly
And the dreams that you dream of,
dreams really do come true
Someday I’ll wish upon a star, wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops,
that’s where you’ll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow bluebirds fly
And the dreams that you dare to, oh why, oh why can’t I?
Well I see trees of green and red roses too,
I’ll watch them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Well I see skies of blue and clouds of white
and the brightness of day
I like the dark
and I think to myself, what a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
are also on the faces of people passing by
I see friends shaking hands saying,
How do you do?
They’re really saying, I – I love you
I hear babies cry and I watch them grow,
they’ll learn much more than we’ll know
And I think to myself, what a wonderful world
Someday I’ll wish upon a star, wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where trouble melts like lemon drops
High above the chimney tops,
that’s where you’ll find me
Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
And the dreams that you dare to, oh why, oh why can’t I?
What a Wonderful World….  even when your heart is sad.   =)
    Hi Jenn
    Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving me a lovely comment. No I don’t think you are crazy! I am happy to meet someone who loves England. Capernwray Hall is just 90 miles from here. I am glad you enjoyed my pictures today. I have really enjoyed my visit to your lovley blog too. Your photography skills are excellent. You have such a beautiful family. I loved seeing them enjoy the beach in OR. Hopefully next year we will be visiting WA to stay with my blogging sister Robin. Do you know there’s s direct flight now from London to Seattle? Hope you get to come back to England very soon.
    Hope you are having a great day. It’s nearly 10:15 in the evening here. Looking forward to getting to know you more soon.
    What a pretty kitty and puppy. Sorry your cat has left you to chase the bluebirds in the sky. Pets just steal you hearts don’t they? Thanks for the comment on my outfit. I wanted to let you know that Target and WalMart have some super cute stuff for Spring. Normally I overlook them, but my sister and I found some cute stuff recently. Also, I found a great fashion related posts. Check out Four Flights of Fancy on Fridays, and this one from The Pleated Poppy: http://lindseycheney.blogspot.com/2010/04/what-i-wore-this-week.html
