Seizing My Day

I love love this little book…
Melt my heart memories reading this book with my babies!

I love story time with my children…

either reading myself …

or even better…

listening to Mr. McFunny read to them!!!

*swoon*

he is so animated and the voices…

oh the voices!

I hope I am not breaking copyright laws …

I just need to show you a few pages in this wonderful little book!

I love tucking my children into bed…

loving them with them kisses, hugs and I love yous…

and reminding them that God loves them too…

right before they close their eyes to dream!

Reminding them that God is always there to comfort you

when you feel small in this big scary world!

and …

Reminding them that even when they had a bad day…

God loves us and forgives us…

just as I love and forgive them!

I love reminding them that even if they had a bad friend day…

or feel down about themselves…

God made them special…

just the way they are…

and He loves them…

and so do I…

Just the way they are…

I love teaching them that God is bigger than we could imagine!

and that hiding is not the answer…

Cling to Him instead!

I love tucking my kids into bed at night With God…

hugs, kisses, love, security, forgiveness, and compassion…

are just a few things that come to mind

when I read this treasure of a bed time story!

This wonderful little book opens doors

to talk about feelings and how God dwells in our hearts and  lives.

Sometimes it is just a cute story…

other times it helps my kids open up a bit…

they can relate… =)

I will be sad when this story is not wanted anymore…

*sigh*

they are bigger little bears now!

it is a book about God…

being Easter and all…

and the fact that He loves me too…

unconditionally…

and my skunk like behavior…

and my hiding in a tree tricks…

A simple sweet bedtime story for my babies…

It speaks to my heart too ~

as I  read it over and over again through the years !
